How to connect eSIM?
For a new eSIM connection, the subscriber (Individual) must apply to one of the company's own offices. You must have a device that supports eSIM technology and a personal identification document.

The advantage of eSIM is the possibility to use two numbers at once: a regular SIM and eSIM.

What to do if QR code is lost? I have used QR code 10 times.
In case of activation of QR code 10 times, loss or damage of QR code profile form, you should pass eSIM replacement procedure. The cost of replacement is charged according to the current SIM replacement price list. To do so, make sure that the eSIM profile on your previous device has been deleted.

Does eSIM work while roaming?
Once an eSIM profile has been installed in a mobile device, the operation of this SIM card is no different to that of a regular SIM. When roaming, eSIM works.

How to set up eSIM?

The new number is activated using a QR code that can be obtained from mobile operator. The code must be scanned on a smartphone with the Internet enabled (e.g. via Wi-Fi). Then go to settings and activate the received eSIM profile by adding a mobile data plan. You can switch to the new card from your phone settings. If you change device, the settings from the old gadget will have to be deleted. The same QR code may be used up to 10 times.

Can eSIM be transferred to another device?
If you have deleted eSIM from your device, you can upload it on another device. To do so, use the same QR code. You can use it up to 10 times.

Do I have to register the IMEI code when I connect the eSIM?
Before connecting, you must check the IMEI code status of your mobile device.

Are all mobile services for SIM card supported also for eSIM?
eSIM completely replaces SIM card and supports all mobile services.

Will my tariff and services be saved after switching from SIM to eSIM?

All services and tariff on your number will be saved.

Do I need Internet for eSIM to work?
Internet is required only during the activation or deactivation of eSIM.

Can eSIM be replaced by SIM card again?
To replace an eSIM with a SIM card, the subscriber (Individual) must contact the company's own office with a document proving the subscriber's identity and go through the replacement procedure.

IMEI
Before activation of eSIM subscriber needs to check that IMEI code of the mobile device is registered, in case of no registration IMEI number can be deactivated after 30 days. Ucell is not responsible for correct operation of eSIM on unregistered device.

Activation instructions:
In Apple devices - Settings → "Cellular" → "Add cellular tariff" and scan the issued QR.
In Samsung devices - Settings → "Connections" → " SIM card manager" → "Add mobile tariff" and scan the issued QR.
In Huawei devices - Settings → "Mobile communication" → "SIM card management" → "Select the desired SIM-card slot" → "eSIM card" and scan the issued QR.

You can delete the eSIM profile in the smartphone settings.

In Samsung devices - Settings → "Connections" → "SIM card manager". Press "Delete".
